
Savannah Energy Plc has appointed Kehinde Ogunwumiju, 43, as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately. Ogunwumiju holds no shareholding in the company.
Commenting on the appointment, Savannah’s Non-Executive Chair, Joseph Pagop Noupoué, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Kehinde to the Board. He is an internationally respected legal professional with a proven track record in supporting dynamic, high-growth organisations. His expertise will be instrumental as Savannah continues to execute its growth strategy across Africa.”
Ogunwumiju, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Managing Partner at Afe Babalola & Co, has extensive experience representing both the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and the Federal Republic of Nigeria in domestic and international disputes, including cases at the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
He has served on several boards over the past five years, including Abuad Management Company Ltd, Adga Investment Nigeria Ltd, Bita Exploration and Production Limited, Curlew Express Limited, and Lumen Energy Limited, among others.
