“Save Regina Daniels” — Izzy Ogbeide Urges Governor Oborevwori to Intervene in Ned Nwoko Controversy

Content creator Izzy Ogbeide has appealed to Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, to intervene in the ongoing controversy involving Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Ogbeide’s appeal follows Regina Daniels’ public allegations that she suffered abuse during her marriage, claims that have since generated widespread public concern and debate. The situation reportedly escalated after Regina’s elder brother was arrested and later released, while the actress was said to have travelled out of the country for safety reasons and to undergo medical and substance-related tests.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Ogbeide accused Senator Nwoko of using his political influence to intimidate and oppress Regina since she reportedly expressed her desire to leave the marriage. She urged the governor to step in, describing the situation as a serious human rights and welfare concern.

Ogbeide further alleged that Regina Daniels was married before the age of 18, describing the union as unconstitutional under Nigerian law. She claimed the actress has been living in fear and emotional distress since deciding to walk away from the relationship.

Questioning the senator’s priorities, Ogbeide asked whether a public office holder of his status should be involved in what she described as the continued harassment of a former spouse. She also alleged that the 24-year-old actress is battling high blood pressure due to the prolonged dispute and again called on the Delta State government to investigate the matter thoroughly.
