Sean “Diddy” Combs, the 56-year-old music mogul and founder of Bad Boy Records, was visited in prison on Christmas Day 2025 by his son, Justin Combs, a representative confirmed to PEOPLE. The visit was described as a heartfelt opportunity for father and son to connect amid Diddy’s ongoing 50-month sentence.

Justin Combs Visits Diddy on Christmas

According to Diddy’s spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, Justin spent about 90 minutes with his father at Fort Dix Prison in New Jersey.

“They talked and caught up on life with each other. They talked about dealing with the hard times now and reflecting on the past and learning from it and how to do better in the future,” Engelmayer said.

The representative added that the visit was especially meaningful to Diddy during the holiday season:

“It meant a great deal [to Diddy], particularly on Christmas, to have family close.”

Background: Diddy’s Legal Troubles

Diddy began serving his sentence at Fort Dix on October 30, 2025, following his conviction on two prostitution-related charges in July. He was originally indicted in September 2024 on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, though he was acquitted of the most serious allegations. His current release date is June 4, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Six of Diddy’s children attended his sentencing hearing, including Justin, who spoke in court on behalf of his father. Justin pleaded for a second chance, describing Diddy as a “superhero” and emphasizing the positive impact he still could have on the world and his family.

“A second chance at life, a second chance to right his wrongs, a second chance to be the man he truly is,” Justin told the judge.

Life Behind Bars

Despite his incarceration, Diddy is participating in the drug treatment program and works in the chapel library at Fort Dix. Reports surfaced in November alleging that he violated jail rules, but his team clarified that incidents such as a phone call were attorney-client communications and fully appropriate.

“He is in the drug treatment program and he is working in the chapel library. The phone call he was on was initiated by an attorney and it was attorney-client privilege and appropriate,” Engelmayer said.
