Shaquille O’Neal’s Custom $180,000 Range Rover Stolen Amid Transport Mystery

A custom 2025 Range Rover owned by NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has reportedly gone missing after a transport mishap, according to CBS News Atlanta. The vehicle, valued at approximately $180,000, was en route to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for O’Neal to use during an LSU football game earlier this month but never arrived at its destination.

Details of the Theft

The SUV had undergone several custom modifications to accommodate O’Neal’s 7-foot-1 frame, including extended seating for comfort. The car reportedly passed through multiple hands during transport and disappeared somewhere in the Atlanta area, prompting a police investigation.

Ahmad Abdelrahman, a spokesperson for the company responsible for customizing and transporting the vehicle, told CBS News: “Transport claimed they were hacked and don’t know who picked up the vehicle. It’s been missing since Monday… They have no idea where it’s at.”

The company has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the vehicle’s recovery.

Shaquille O’Neal’s Legacy

Shaq, selected No. 1 overall in the 1992 NBA Draft after three standout seasons at LSU, enjoyed a storied NBA career spanning from 1992 to 2011. He won four NBA championships, earned a league MVP award, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.

Currently, O’Neal works as an analyst on “Inside the NBA”, which transitioned to ESPN this season after decades at TNT.

This incident highlights the challenges of transporting high-value vehicles, even for high-profile athletes, and has drawn significant attention from both NBA fans and car enthusiasts.
