Veteran actor Dharmendra, 89, who was recently hospitalized at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, has returned home after undergoing some medical tests. While the family has kept details private, actor Shatrughan Sinha and his wife Poonam Sinha recently visited Hema Malini to inquire about his well-being.

Sharing a picture with Hema Malini and Poonam on X, Shatrughan wrote:

“Along with my ‘bestest half’ @PoonamSinha went to meet, greet & God Bless, our very dear family friend… Our prayers are with them all & we inquired about ‘his’ our elder brother’s & the family’s wellbeing too.”

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan had also visited Dharmendra in the hospital, with Esha Deol, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol present as well.

The family recently had to address widespread false rumors about Dharmendra’s death. Daughter Esha Deol urged the media to respect privacy, stating that he is stable and recovering. Hema Malini condemned the “irresponsible” reporting, calling it “unforgivable” and requesting respect for the family’s need for privacy.

The visit by Shatrughan and Poonam highlights the strong bond of friendship and concern for Dharmendra’s health among Bollywood peers.
