Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has once again raised concerns over her prize winnings, claiming that she has not received the ₦100 million reward promised after winning the reality show in 2022.

The reality TV star made the revelation during a recent livestream with fans, where she expressed frustration over the prolonged delay in receiving the full prize package.

Phyna recalled that she first spoke out about the issue in 2024, accusing the show’s organisers, MultiChoice Nigeria, of failing to fully fulfil their obligations to her as the winner. According to her, several components of the prize remain outstanding, including the cash equivalent, an all-expenses-paid trip for two, and products from sponsoring brands.

She explained that the unresolved payments have negatively affected both her career and personal life, forcing her to repeatedly address the issue publicly despite facing criticism and disbelief from some fans.

While MultiChoice Nigeria has previously insisted that all prize commitments were honoured, Phyna continues to dispute the claim, stressing that she would not have spoken out if the matter had been resolved.

During the livestream, she responded emotionally to a fan who asked about the ₦100 million prize, saying many people dismissed her when she initially cried out.

“First of all, they didn’t give me ₦100 million. When I cried online, you all said I was lying. When I said they were owing me, nobody listened,” she said.

Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans questioning the transparency of the BBNaija prize system, while others expressed sympathy over her ordeal.
