Stanel Group CEO Uzochukwu Visits Zambian President Hichilema with Flutterwave Boss

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stanel Group and The Delborough Lagos, Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu, has paid a courtesy visit to Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema, at the weekend.

Dr. Uzochukwu, one of Nigeria’s most influential young business leaders, was accompanied by former President of Sierra Leone, H.E. Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, whom he described as a father figure, and Flutterwave Chief Executive Officer, Olugbenga Agboola, a leading figure in Africa’s digital economy.

Agboola, a technology entrepreneur and cybersecurity engineer, holds an MBA from the University of Westminster and the MIT Sloan School of Management.

According to a post shared on Dr. Uzochukwu’s Instagram page, the high-level meeting focused on discussions around strategic investments and sustainable partnerships aimed at advancing Africa’s economic growth.

“Visited Zambia for the first time alongside my father, H.E. Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, former President of Sierra Leone, and my mentee, CEO Olugbenga Agboola of Flutterwave, to meet with the President of Zambia, H.E. Hakainde Hichilema,” the post read.

“Our discussions centered on strategic investments and fostering sustainable partnerships that will shape the future of Africa’s economic growth. The prospects are bright, and we are eager to bring our shared vision to life.

The visit underscores growing collaboration between African business leaders, technology innovators, and political leadership in driving investment and development across the continent.
