Singer and television personality Tamar Braxton has candidly shared her feelings on love, relationships, and public perception in a recent interview, revealing her desire to transition from her current lifestyle to married life.
“I am a wife. I am not no street walker,” Braxton said, expressing frustration with how media and fans sometimes misrepresent her personal life. Using humor to underline her point, she added, “And I’m upset I’m still in the street. Like, what’s going on?”
When asked why she hasn’t settled down, she joked, “Because there’s not the right gas. Okay? I take premium, it’s giving very much regular unleaded,” emphasizing that she’s waiting for the right partner rather than rushing into a relationship.
On what she looks for in a man, Braxton kept it simple: “A good man,” reflecting her longstanding commitment to prioritizing meaningful, quality relationships over fleeting attention or casual flings.
Braxton has previously shared that she chose to remain celibate in 2025 to focus on her son and wait for a genuine connection. With her music career, reality TV appearances, and dynamic personality, she continues to engage audiences with honesty, humor, and openness about her life.
