Tinubu’s Economic Reforms Building Foundation for “New Nigeria” – Abiodun

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has praised President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, describing them as laying a solid foundation for a “new Nigeria.”

Speaking after reading the ninth lesson at the 2025 Christmas carol organized by the state government, Abiodun highlighted that the President’s efforts have contributed to economic stability and inclusive prosperity nationwide.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda has positively lifted the nation’s economy,” he said.

The governor called for continued support for the President and urged unity, compassion, and shared prosperity as the path to a brighter future for Ogun State and the country.

Abiodun also reflected on the spiritual significance of Christmas, noting it brings joy and a reminder of God’s unfading love, even amid global and national challenges. He encouraged residents to extend Christ-like love through acts of kindness, particularly towards the less privileged.

He further commended Ogun State for its long-standing reputation for religious tolerance and social harmony, and urged citizens to remain vigilant by reporting suspicious activities to ensure a safe and joyful festive season.

Earlier, Pastor Tunde Bakare of Citadel Global Community Church delivered a sermon titled “The Best Gift Ever,” emphasizing that Jesus’ birth brought good news to humanity. He urged worshippers to emulate Christ’s actions in their communities after the celebrations.

Dignitaries at the event included former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Governor Olusegun Osoba, Senator Solomon Adeola, and traditional rulers.
