Politician and philanthropist Tunde Olaogun has marked his birthday by empowering residents of Ogbomoso North, Oyo State, through a series of community-focused initiatives.
As part of the celebration, Olaogun unveiled “The Royalty Place”, an empowerment and inclusive center in his constituency. He described the project as more than just a building, emphasizing that it reflects a core belief: every individual carries dignity, worth, and untapped potential, regardless of background.
“The Royalty Place is being conceived as a home for empowerment, inclusion, and community uplifting – built with hope and purpose,” Olaogun said.
On his birthday, he also hosted a medical outreach, offering free health screenings, consultations, and essential medications to constituents. In addition, a Back-to-School Initiative provided support to children and elderly women, reinforcing the message that they are valued and remembered.
Olaogun explained the personal motivation behind the acts of service: “If a child returns to school with renewed confidence, or an elderly woman smiles with reassurance, then this birthday is achieving its true purpose.”
