Washington, DC – The US House Oversight Committee has released a new batch of photos from the estate of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring a number of high-profile public figures, including former President Donald Trump and ex-President Bill Clinton. The release, spearheaded by House Democrats, comes amid renewed calls for transparency and accountability in the Epstein case.
The images, made public on Friday, depict Trump, his former adviser Steve Bannon, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, billionaire businessman Bill Gates, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, and film director Woody Allen. Several photos also show Epstein alongside other prominent associates, including Clinton and Epstein’s convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
Calls for Accountability and Transparency
House Democrats are urging the White House to end what they describe as a “cover-up” surrounding Epstein and his connections to influential figures. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, said in a statement:
“It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends. These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”
Progressive Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal described the photographs as “repulsive,” emphasizing the urgent need for accountability.
Trump’s Response
Trump has consistently denied any close ties to Epstein, claiming that he only knew him as a neighbor in Palm Beach, Florida, and eventually removed him from his Mar-a-Lago resort for being a “creep.” Earlier in 2025, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump had allegedly sent a birthday card with sexual connotations to Epstein, which Trump denied and subsequently sued the publication over.
Last month, Congress passed legislation requiring the Justice Department to release all government documents related to Epstein while protecting victims’ identities. The law mandates that the files be released by December 19, 2025.
Trump had initially opposed releasing the records, with aides warning that public disclosure could involve sensitive material, including child exploitation content. However, under mounting political and public pressure, the former president allowed the bill to pass.
Epstein’s Criminal History and Associates
Jeffrey Epstein ran a sex trafficking ring involving underage girls and young women. He first pled guilty in 2008 to solicitation of prostitution with a minor, receiving what many critics described as a lenient “sweetheart deal.” Following a Miami Herald investigation, federal authorities reopened the case, arresting him in 2019 on charges of sex trafficking of minors. Epstein died in his New York City jail cell two months later, in what authorities ruled as suicide.
Epstein’s network of associates has included some of the most powerful figures in politics, business, and entertainment, including Clinton, Barak, Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom, and Alen Dershowitz, his legal counsel. The release of these photos reignites public scrutiny over Epstein’s connections and the potential involvement of intelligence agencies, with speculation about possible ties to Israel’s Mossad.
Public and Political Reactions
The release of Epstein estate photos has intensified debates about transparency, accountability, and justice for survivors of sex trafficking. Lawmakers, activists, and advocacy groups are calling for full disclosure of all documents, emphasizing the need to protect victims while holding powerful figures accountable.
The controversy also raises questions about how influential individuals may have evaded scrutiny and how legal and political systems handle cases involving high-profile offenders.
