Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has officially signed a two-year contract extension, keeping him at the helm of the German giants until June 2029. The announcement underscores the club’s confidence in Kompany’s leadership after a remarkable start to his managerial tenure.

The former Manchester City captain took charge of Bayern in May 2024, initially on a deal set to expire in summer 2027. The 39-year-old Belgian has since transformed the team, winning 49 of his 67 matches across all competitions, including the Bundesliga title in his first season.
