“Wetin I Wan Use Wizkid Do, Na God?” – Carter Efe Claps Back at Tunde Perry

Content creator and entertainer Carter Efe has fired back at socialite Tunde Perry after Perry claimed that Carter Efe would never get the chance to meet music superstar Wizkid.

Tunde Perry had taken to social media to share his encounter with Wizkid in Lagos and commented that he could clearly tell Carter Efe that meeting the Afrobeats star was impossible for him.

In a livestream response, Carter Efe dismissed the remark as unnecessary and questioned the significance of meeting any celebrity as a measure of success. He stressed that meaningful connections and career growth matter more than bragging rights associated with rubbing shoulders with a star.

Carter Efe highlighted his own experience with Davido, explaining that the singer’s appearance on his livestream opened doors to new opportunities, deals, and financial support. Reflecting on the situation, he said:

“Since Davido come my livestream, different things just dey come my life. Different deals. People dey reach out to me, dey dash me money and things because of Davido. Because you sit down near Wizkid, body dey sweet you, you come dey talk anyhow. Come sit down with Davido make you see how your life go change. You dey tell me I no fit ever see Wizkid, wetin I wan use Wizkid do? Wizkid na God?”

Carter Efe’s statement underlines his belief that no artist should be placed on a pedestal above God, and that personal and professional growth should not depend on celebrity interactions.
