Kylie Jenner is officially stepping into the music world. On October 13, at 9 p.m. PT, the beauty mogul dropped her verse on the new electro-pop track “Fourth Strike,” collaborating with Los Angeles duo Terror Jr. The release was accompanied by a music video on her official YouTube account, marking Jenner’s first official foray into music.
The 28-year-old star teased the track earlier in the day by sharing the single’s cover art on Instagram, igniting excitement among her fans. The song carries a sultry electro-pop sound, with Jenner whispering the phrase “King Kylie” over a breezy, seductive beat — a nod to her 2014 persona, when bold hair and full-glam makeup defined her aesthetic.
Terror Jr. performs the first two verses, with Jenner taking over for the third, delivering a signature deep, speak-sing style. In her verse, she purrs, “One strike, two strike, let me get the mood right. I just wanna tell you I’m sorry,” before ramping up the intensity with, “Write your name all over my body. Cross the line, I might do it again / Do it on purpose just to see how it ends.”
Jenner’s connection to Terror Jr. dates back to 2016, when rumors circulated that she was the band’s secret lead singer. The duo, comprised of Felix Snow and David “Campa” Benjamin Singer-Vine, had released a track called “Three Strikes” at the time, sparking speculation about Jenner’s involvement. She publicly denied the rumors via Snapchat, though they resurfaced with her latest music projects.
The “King Kylie” brand is also making a broader comeback. Jenner recently teased a follow-up video to her 2016 “Glosses” promotion, and a new Kylie Cosmetics collection inspired by the 2014 aesthetic is set to launch on Saturday, October 18. Jenner was spotted embracing a modernized version of the iconic look just days prior, wearing a white “KING” crop top paired with black leather pants in Los Angeles.
This musical debut marks the next stage of Jenner’s evolution from beauty mogul to pop star, blending her personal brand with a bold artistic venture that fans have long speculated about.
