MTN Nigeria Awards Sixth Car to University Student in Campus Activation

A 300-level student at Bayero University, Kano, Ramatu Yakubu, has won a car worth N35 million, becoming the sixth university student to win in MTN Nigeria’s ongoing campus activation series.

The three-day event also distributed millions of naira in laptops, tablets, and cash while offering students low-cost data plans, including night packages starting at just ₦75, to support research and online activities.

MTN’s Youth Segment Manager, Femi Adesina, emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering students, stating: “No amount is too much to build a well-rounded Nigerian youth.”

The campus activation featured live performances, gaming competitions, and entrepreneurship exhibitions. Previous winners included students from University of Abuja, FUTO, UNIBEN, MOAUM, and FUNAAB.

MTN partners in the initiative include TECNO (device financing), LG (electronic prizes), and MoMo (mobile financial solutions). The nationwide tour is set to continue at more universities before year-end.
