
Wema Bank has introduced a festive customer reward initiative tagged “12 Days of Christmas with 5 for 5 Rewards,” aimed at boosting customer engagement and encouraging routine banking activities during the holiday season.
The campaign runs from December 14 to December 25, 2025, and rewards customers who fund their accounts with a minimum of ₦5,000.
Under the promotion, 33 customers will receive ₦5,000 cash rewards daily throughout the 12-day period, providing consistent incentives for participants nationwide who meet the funding requirement.
According to the bank, the initiative aligns with its strategy of rewarding customer loyalty while promoting the use of its digital and alternative banking platforms.
Customers can participate by funding their accounts through the ALAT app, the *945# USSD code, or via debit card transactions.
Wema Bank explained that the campaign reflects its understanding of heightened financial activity during the festive season, a period often marked by increased spending on travel, family commitments, and year-end preparations.
By tying direct cash rewards to everyday banking transactions, the bank aims to deliver added value without requiring customers to change their usual banking habits.
The financial institution noted that the promotion forms part of its broader customer-centric innovation drive, particularly its focus on leveraging digital platforms to provide convenient, accessible, and seamless banking experiences.
