The former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will clinch victory in next year’s gubernatorial election, crediting the leadership of Chief Bisi Akande, pioneer national chairman of the party, and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola.
In his New Year message to Osun residents, Owoeye congratulated the people for the emergence of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) as the APC’s gubernatorial candidate, describing it as “the best development of 2025.”
“I am very confident that Mr. Oyetola, Chief Akande, and other party leaders will lead the APC to victory in the 2026 and 2027 elections,” Owoeye said, urging party members to remain committed and united.
Similarly, APC chieftain Engr. Ademola Adedapo called on Osun residents to support Oyebamiji, highlighting the importance of backing the party’s candidate in the August 8, 2026 election. He also urged continued support for President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, noting that they are intended to bring prosperity and a brighter future for Nigerians.
“The reforms of 2025 may have been challenging, but they were for the good of the country. Let us continue to support the federal government as these measures promise a better future,” Adedapo said.
Both leaders emphasized unity, party discipline, and public support as key to ensuring APC’s success in Osun State.
