– Nigeria: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, popularly known as Abena, on his birthday, recognizing his long-standing commitment to public service and loyalty in politics.

In a statement issued via his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Abegunde as a dependable political associate whose career has been marked by consistency, dedication, and professionalism.

Abegunde, a trained civil engineer and architect, served twice in the House of Representatives, representing Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency in Ondo State. He also held the position of Secretary to the Ondo State Government, where he was praised for administrative diligence. Currently, he is the Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), where his governance experience continues to have a meaningful impact.

Highlighting Abegunde’s international experience, President Tinubu noted his professional tenure in the United States, including roles as a Systems Engineer for the State of Maryland and at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, demonstrating his versatility and global exposure.
