Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez has publicly tendered an emotional apology to his senior colleague, Opeyemi Aiyeola, expressing deep remorse over past actions that strained their relationship.

In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Azeez described Aiyeola as more than a colleague, referring to her as his mother, sister, confidant, benefactor, and strongest supporter. He acknowledged that he caused her significant pain and admitted to acting immaturely.

According to the actor, Aiyeola played a major role in his personal and professional journey, noting that his story cannot be told without her name prominently mentioned. He confessed that the hurt he caused ran deep and openly asked for forgiveness, appealing to her compassion and faith.

“I know I hurt you deeply, and I am sincerely sorry for everything. I miss you and what we shared,” Azeez wrote, adding that he regrets his actions and longs for reconciliation.

He further expressed how much her absence has affected him, questioning who would fill her place in his life as a mentor, supporter, and guide. The actor concluded his message with an emotional plea, reiterating his apology and asking for another chance to make things right.
