Allwell Ademola: Neighbour Recalls Final Struggle Before Actress Passed Away

A neighbour of the late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has shared a heartbreaking account of her final moments, highlighting the struggles she faced before being rushed to the hospital.

The neighbour revealed in an interview with actress Abiola Ayomide Adebayo that it took Allwell more than 30 minutes to open her door as she struggled to get dressed. Despite the delay, the neighbour, alongside a few others, helped lift Allwell into a car and drove her to the hospital, as the originally assigned driver was too nervous to take the wheel.

“Allwell rarely drove herself, but that day she somehow found the strength to take the car. The urgency was evident, and even neighbours at Pipeline noticed something was seriously wrong,” the neighbour recounted.

Reflecting on Allwell’s character, the neighbour recalled how the actress had once joked about being lucky to have good neighbours who would always support her—a sentiment that proved true during her final hours.

The neighbour expressed the difficulty of coming to terms with her passing, saying that seeing Allwell’s personal belongings around the house still feels surreal.

“It took almost over 30 minutes. I had to keep saying, ‘Actress, please open the door.’ She was covering herself, not knowing it would end this way. We tried to lift her—five or six people—and I drove the car myself, faster than I normally would. People knew something was wrong that day. It’s still like a dream, especially when I see her things around. Is it really true?” she said.

Many fans and residents have responded to the story, offering prayers and emphasizing the importance of first aid knowledge and companionship, especially for those living alone.
