Antonio Di Natale Tips Dusan Vlahovic to Hit 20 Goals Under New Juventus Coach Luciano Spalletti

Former Italy international Antonio Di Natale has confidently predicted that Dusan Vlahovic will thrive under new Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti, scoring at least 20 goals this season. The Italian legend made the remarks during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport following Spalletti’s official unveiling as the new head coach of the Turin giants.

🔄 Spalletti Takes Charge at Juventus

Luciano Spalletti, well known for his tactical intelligence and flair for developing attacking systems, officially replaced interim manager Igor Tudor this week. Spalletti arrives with considerable pedigree, having led Inter, Roma, Napoli, and more recently the Italian national team.

Di Natale, who played under Spalletti at Empoli and Udinese, expressed excitement at seeing his former boss take over the Bianconeri.

“Spalletti couldn’t say no to Juventus. I’m convinced he will bring them back to the top,” Di Natale stated.

⚽ Vlahovic Set for Big Season Under Spalletti?

Di Natale believes that Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has shown flashes of brilliance but has lacked consistency, will shine once Spalletti begins to implement his tactical vision at Juventus.

“I expect around 20 goals from Vlahovic,” Di Natale said, adding that attacking teammates such as David and Loïs Openda could also benefit from Spalletti’s methodology.

Spalletti is known for elevating forward play by focusing on:

  • Movement between the lines
  • Attacking synchronization
  • Detailed opposition analysis

All of which bode well for goal-hungry strikers like Vlahovic.

🔍 What’s Next for Juventus?

Spalletti will make his debut on the Juventus touchline today in a Serie A match against Cremonese, with reports suggesting he’ll stick to a defensive back three inherited from Tudor.

Looking ahead, Di Natale hopes to see a 4-3-3 formation, featuring a dynamic front line of Conceiçao, Vlahovic, and Yildiz.

Despite a slow start to the season, both Di Natale and Spalletti believe Juventus are still in the title race. With more time on the training ground, Spalletti is confident he can reignite the club’s form and steer them toward glory.

“People who go to the stadium want to win, not see a circus,” Di Natale said. “Luciano can bring success and attractive football. Fans will love him.”
