The wife of the Delta State Governor and Founder of the You Matter Charity Foundation, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, alongside the Commissioner for Primary Education, Dr. Ashibogwu Nze Kingsley, will headline the Train-the-Trainers Summit in Asaba — a national initiative focused on equipping parents, teachers, and community leaders with practical tools to raise confident and values-driven children.
Themed “Empowering Our Generation NEXT Leaders: Raising Children to Thrive and Lead,” the summit is organised by the Duke’s Infant & Child Foundation and will kick off on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the South End Event Centre, DBS Road, Asaba. The second session is scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Monarchy Event Centre, Warri-Sapele Road, Warri.
In a statement, the convener, Mrs. Augusta Anyanwu-Egbom, said the initiative aims to strengthen the role of educators, caregivers, and community leaders in shaping Nigeria’s next generation of responsible, resilient, and visionary leaders.
The summit will feature a lineup of renowned speakers, including Wendy Ologe, Africa’s leading parent coach; Uche Monu, CEO of Silver Crest Educational Services; and CSP Omosetemi Agbede-Zuokumor, Co-Initiator of Security Education Advocates (SEA), among other experts in education and child empowerment.
According to the organisers, the Train-the-Trainers Summit will foster collaboration between stakeholders to build a generation of children equipped with leadership, moral discipline, and problem-solving skills necessary to transform Nigeria’s future.
