Nigerian singer JJC Skillz (Abdulrasheed Bello) has made serious accusations against his former colleagues Don Jazzy and D’banj, claiming they betrayed him years ago despite his support for their early careers. In a revealing interview with Echo Room, JJC opened up about his frustrations with the two artists, alleging that they, along with others, conspired against him during their time together in the UK.

Allegations of Betrayal

JJC Skillz revealed that he took in and supported Don Jazzy, D’banj, and others during their struggling days, providing them with accommodation, food, and clothing. Despite this, he accuses them of conspiring to betray him. He said, “Don Jazzy, D’banj, Ayo, DJ Abass; all of them conspired against me.”

JJC explained how his relationship with the artists began: “Taz brought a guy called Don Jazzy to me, and Ayo came through Abass. I met them because they were running a TV station.” He recalled that one day, he approached them with a request for help, saying, “You guys are obviously well connected to Nigeria, and me, I am a JJC. I just need somebody to introduce me to the right people to work with in Nigeria.” He said they agreed to help him and connected him to Bankulli.

At that time, Don Jazzy and D’banj were working under JJC. According to JJC, these individuals, whom he trusted to introduce him to key figures in Nigeria’s music scene, had plans of their own. He said, “They were supposed to introduce me back home to Nigeria, but they had plans that I didn’t know about.”

The Shocking Accusation

JJC revealed that he was later taken aback when he heard from Ruggedman that D’banj had accused him of cheating them during their time together in the UK. “I was shocked because nobody knew them back then. I was the one taking them to shows, accommodating, feeding, and clothing them. So, how can I be cheating when you haven’t made any money?” JJC said, expressing his disbelief.

Despite the gravity of the accusations, Don Jazzy and D’banj have yet to respond to JJC’s claims.
