DSS Arrests Man for Advocating Military Coup on Social Media

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested Innocent Chukwuma in Oyigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for using his social media account to call for a military coup against the Nigerian government.

Chukwuma, posting under the handle @TheAgroman on X, urged the military to “dispose of APC, suspend the Nigerian Government, and join the AES”, claiming the government has sold the country to foreign powers.

The DSS confirmed that Chukwuma is cooperating with investigators as the probe continues.
