Speaking with co-star Sutton Stracke during a spa day, Jayne described her ongoing emotional struggle:
“I’m heartbroken. It f—— sucks knowing that person and being married to that person for so long. Then to see him walk down the courtroom steps like that knowing he’s going to die in prison, that’s heavy on any level.”
Stracke asked whether Jayne plans to visit Girardi in prison. Jayne revealed her ambivalence:
“I’ve thought about visiting, but I ask myself, ‘Would he even want to see me? Would he know who I am? Is there going to be some magical answer to all the questions I have?’”

Girardi, 86, was disbarred and sentenced to prison in July 2025 following a conviction on four counts of wire fraud. Over a decade, he embezzled more than $15 million from clients, leading to multiple civil cases and public scrutiny. He received his sentence on his 86th birthday and is reportedly in poor health.
Jayne shared that even five years after filing for divorce, she is still navigating the fallout:
“Five years later, I’m still fighting my way out of this. I still have civil cases that are in motion. I don’t know that I’ll ever get away from any of this. I don’t know what happens to me in the end.”
