
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has called for the public’s assistance in identifying a young boy found unconscious following a suspected hit-and-run incident in Abuja. The incident occurred on the evening of December 10, 2025, near the Apo Roundabout.
Details of the Incident
According to a statement from the Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, the victim is believed to be between the ages of 12 and 15 years old. He was found unconscious at around 8:00 p.m. by two passersby, Mr. Naziru Ibrahim and Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed. The two individuals immediately rushed the boy to Sahad Hospital in Apo Resettlement, where he is currently receiving medical care.
Current Status
The young boy remains unconscious, and no form of identification was found on him. As of the police report, there have been no leads regarding the boy’s identity or the circumstances of the hit-and-run.
Police Appeal
The FCT Police Command has launched an investigation into the incident, and efforts are underway to locate the boy’s family or guardians. The police are calling on residents who might have information about the victim or the incident to come forward.
