Filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has expressed her gratitude to fans following the extraordinary success of her latest film, ‘Behind The Scenes’, which has set new box office milestones both in Nigeria and abroad.

The movie earned over N200 million in Nigerian cinemas and £42,000 in the UK and Ireland during its opening weekend, marking it as one of the biggest openings of 2025.

Akindele took to social media to celebrate the achievement, thanking her Nigerian fans for their support and acknowledging the film’s impact on audiences overseas.
