
Telecommunications giant Globacom has unveiled its latest recharge-and-reward campaign, the ‘Jollof’ Promo, designed to blend entertainment with meaningful rewards for subscribers.
According to the company, participants earn Jollof Points with every recharge, which can be used to access games, instant prizes, data bonuses, and substantial cash rewards. At the top of the prize list is a fully completed bungalow in Ikeja GRA, one of Lagos’ most sought-after neighborhoods.
“The Jollof Promo is our way of showing appreciation to customers, with thousands of prizes worth hundreds of millions of Naira up for grabs. This follows the success of previous campaigns that delighted thousands of subscribers nationwide,” Globacom said.
How the Promo Works
The campaign begins with a Freemium Offer, where customers instantly earn free airtime when they recharge with N100 or more. To participate, subscribers dial *278# on their Glo lines. Acceptance of the Freemium Offer adds the mobile number to the reward pool. All subscribers, whether opting in or not, are automatically enrolled in the Jollof Premium Club, which offers daily chances to win major prizes, including up to N10 million in cash and the grand prize of a house in Ikeja GRA.
Jollof Freemium features hourly draws, with N1,000 awarded between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily—except at noon, when one lucky subscriber wins N10,000.
Meanwhile, the Jollof Premium category offers bigger wins:
- N10 million for one subscriber
- N1 million for three subscribers
- N100,000 each for ten subscribers
Premium Club members can also participate in trivia games, competing for N50,000 weekly and N1 million monthly. Participation is instant via dialing *278#.
