“Go To Arab Countries” – Folake Flakkyfaj Mocks Princess’s Marriage Struggles

Folake Flakkyfaj, actress and real estate entrepreneur, has responded to comedian Damilola Adekoya (aka Princess) after the latter posted a video about her struggles to find a husband. In the video, Princess openly expressed her frustration with being single and called out pastors like Jerry Eze and Bolaji Idowu, asking them to share contacts of eligible men in their congregations. Princess revealed that her previous comments on their social media posts about her situation were often met with ridicule.

Flakkyfaj reacted to the video on her Facebook page, mocking Princess and suggesting that she look for a husband in Arab countries, claiming that Nigerian men are intimidated by her.

To explain her point, Flakkyfaj referenced the Baba Ijesha case, sharing a Yoruba proverb that implies someone who achieves an extraordinary feat might initially be praised, but soon others begin to fear them. She compared this to a man who kills an elephant with just a cap – while he’s celebrated briefly, people soon realize that if he can do such a thing, he might also be dangerous.

The post sparked mixed reactions, with some fans defending Princess, pointing out that Baba Ijesha was legally found guilty, while others sided with Flakkyfaj, criticizing Princess’s approach to her personal situation.
