Renowned rapper Ice Prince Zamani has voiced concerns about the pressures and responsibilities that come with marriage, particularly for men approaching their 40s.

In a recent social media post, Ice Prince urged single men to carefully evaluate their lives before making the commitment to marriage. He cited the example of a friend who married in 2024 but is already struggling to cope with the demands of married life.

He wrote, “These days na everyday dem dey scare us about this marriage union of a thing… My guy wey just marry 2024 no dey answer wife call again and wants out.”

Addressing single men directly, he added, “Yo single fellas approaching 40, wagwan?! Pls, what’s the update these days? What we doing?!”

He also advised introspection before taking on the responsibilities of marriage: “My brother, check yourself properly before you tell person daughter or another man’s sister that you want to be the head coach in her life. Cleanse yourself first, look yourself well, and tell yourself the truth, my brother.”
