Two Palestinian children were killed in an Israeli drone strike on the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, medics reported on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
Witnesses said the drone dropped a bomb on a group of civilians near al-Farabi School, killing brothers Juma and Fadi Tamer Abu Assi. The boys were taken to the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis with critical injuries, but medical staff later declared them dead.
Ceasefire Breach
The attack occurred beyond the so-called Yellow Line, marking the Israeli redeployment boundary agreed under the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025.
Despite the truce, Israeli forces have continued ground, naval, and air strikes across Gaza, including:
- Al-Qarara (northeast of Khan Younis), where three Palestinians were injured by artillery and air bombardment.
- Tuffah neighbourhood in eastern Gaza City.
- Eastern areas of Rafah city in southern Gaza.
Medical sources noted that the Bani Suheila attack was the second breach of the ceasefire in the past two days, following another drone strike beyond the Yellow Line that killed a Palestinian.
Human Toll of the Conflict
Since October 2023, Israeli attacks on Gaza have resulted in nearly 70,000 deaths, mostly women and children, with more than 170,000 injured.
Hamas has called on the international community to pressure Israel to comply with the truce, citing repeated violations.
