Mofoluwato Anidugbe Uthman, popularly known as Uthy Grind and brother of Nigerian hitmaker Kizz Daniel, has officially entered the hospitality scene with the soft launch of UNDA Lounge in Lekki Phase 1.

The launch event, attended by close friends and family, offered the first glimpse of the Caribbean-inspired, waterfront lounge.

Speaking at the event, Anidugbe described the project as a long-standing passion shaped by his experience in the entertainment industry.

“This is a passion project for me. I’ve always wanted to go into hospitality because I’m already very vast in the entertainment industry, and I feel hospitality and entertainment go hand in hand,” he said.

He added that the lounge aims to bring a fresh vibe to Lagos nightlife:

“I created something that has never been seen before: UNDA, located by the waterside at 8 Wole Olateju, Lekki Phase 1. It’s a Caribbean-inspired playground. The location is right by the water and it is incredibly beautiful.”

Affordability is central to UNDA’s concept. The lounge plans to host live sessions, listening parties, celebrity performances, and art showcases, with an in-house art gallery adding another layer of attraction for visitors.

The menu emphasizes seafood, inspired by the lounge’s “underwater” theme, reflecting the name “UNDA.” The official launch is scheduled for December 17, with Kizz Daniel set to make a special appearance.
