Fans of Once Upon a Time (OUAT) got a treat at the 31st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, where former cast members Mckenna Grace, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Josh Dallas were photographed together, marking their first reunion since the show wrapped in 2018.
A Magical Reunion at Critics’ Choice Awards
The trio, who appeared on the beloved fairy-tale series, shared smiles and photos at the Santa Monica event, delighting longtime OUAT fans. The show, created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, aired for seven seasons from 2011 to 2018 and reimagined classic fairy tale characters living in the modern world.
Goodwin, 47, starred as Snow White, Dallas, 47, played Prince Charming, and Grace, 19, portrayed the younger version of their daughter, Emma Swan, in flashbacks.
Fond Memories and Ongoing Connection
Last year, Goodwin expressed interest in reprising her role if a reboot or revival of OUAT were to happen. Speaking at D23, the Disney fan event, she said:
“I hear these rumors as well [about a reboot], and I am available if they [want to do that]. I mean, I live around the corner from the creator, so I’m sure I’ll hear things.”
Grace also reminisced about her time on the show, joking about her on-screen family:
“I’d love to go back. My whole life is kind of built around it. I mean, I married Prince Charming. His babies are my babies,” she said, referring to Dallas, with whom she shares two children.
Dallas emphasized the show’s enduring popularity, telling PEOPLE in 2023:
“People come up to me all the time talking about Once and saying they just started watching it and they’re loving it.”
Why OUAT Still Resonates
Once Upon a Time remains a fan favorite thanks to its inventive blend of classic fairy tales, modern storytelling, and memorable characters. The reunion of Goodwin, Dallas, and Grace not only sparked nostalgia but also reminded audiences of the strong bonds formed on set — both on-screen and off.
