
After days of online buzz and speculation, MTN Nigeria has officially unveiled YelloTide, its highly anticipated festive campaign designed to spread joy, kindness, and connection nationwide.
The campaign launches this week after a three-day teaser that kept Nigerians guessing across social media. With the big reveal now made, MTN says YelloTide will roll out in three major phases, each crafted to brighten the festive season through colour, community engagement, and meaningful acts of giving.
The celebrations begin with Y’ello Santa, a three-day activation running from Thursday, November 13 to Saturday, November 15, 2025, across six major cities: Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Enugu, Kano, and Ibadan. Each location will feature surprise appearances, exciting giveaways, and unique pop-up experiences aimed at turning everyday public spaces into festive hotspots.
Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Nigeria, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, said:
“This season, we want to bring the smiles back. We want people to remember what it feels like to come together, celebrate each other, and share happiness. From city centres to small communities, we’re taking the celebration to where Nigerians are.”
Running throughout the festive period and into early 2026, the YelloTide campaign will blend on-ground activations, digital interactions via MTN’s portal yellotide.mtn.ng, and community-focused experiences that highlight togetherness.
With millions of Nigerians already engaging online and citywide activities set to kick off, MTN’s YelloTide campaign is poised to become one of the most memorable and unifying celebrations of the season.
