Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle has expressed pride in how his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, has leveraged the Doyle name in her career.

The actor spoke about his relationship with Ireti during a recent interview on Wake Up Nigeria. Reports note that the couple finalized their divorce in January 2023, though the reasons were not publicly disclosed.

When asked about Ireti’s progress in the entertainment industry, Patrick said he preferred to remain respectful rather than make negative comments.

“I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her, and she hasn’t disgraced it. She’s doing very well, and I’m proud of her achievements in the industry,” he stated.
