NAF Conducts Airstrikes, Destroys Terror Enclaves in Katsina, Foils ISWAP/Boko Haram Attack in Borno

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it has carried out precision airstrikes that destroyed terror bases in Katsina State and stopped an ISWAP/Boko Haram offensive in Chibok, Borno State.

In Katsina, two coordinated strikes under Operation Fansan Yamma on November 27 targeted fortified terrorist camps in Kankara, Faskari, Malumfashi, and Danfako LGAs, neutralizing several insurgents and destroying logistics hubs.

In Borno, NAF air support aided the 28 Task Force Brigade to repel a multi-front insurgent attack on Chibok. Four major strikes disrupted fleeing fighters, inflicting heavy losses and preventing regrouping.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame emphasized that these operations demonstrate the NAF’s commitment to precision counterterrorism and protecting civilians while collaborating with ground forces.
