NECLive 2025: Funmi Iyanda, Steve Babaeko, Jide Taiwo to Lead Star-Studded Speaker Lineup

The full speaker lineup for NECLive 2025 has been unveiled, promising an unprecedented gathering of Nigeria’s creative industry leaders at the Landmark Event Centre on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Topping the roster are MultiChoice Nigeria CEO John Ugbe, X3M Ideas founder Steve Babaeko, and FilmHouse Group co-founder Kene Okwuosa, leading over 40 industry titans in conversations themed “Powering Africa Through Creative Enterprise”—the hallmark of West Africa’s largest creative industry conference.

The event, organized by Nigerian Entertainment Today and Africa Creative Foundation, will bring together media executives, filmmakers, music leaders, tech innovators, government officials, and investors, all tasked with shaping the future of Africa’s $4.2 billion creative economy.

Key Voices and Trailblazers

Broadcasting icon Funmi Iyanda, CcHUB Managing Director Ojoma Ochai, filmmaker and educator Chris Ihidero, and media entrepreneurs Yinka Obebe, Fisayo Fosudo, Jide Taiwo, and David Adeleke are among the marquee speakers. Rising filmmaker Nora Awolowo will also share her insights, alongside industry veterans such as Moses Babatope, Chichi Nwoko, Dr. Shaibu Husseini, Audu Maikori, and Colette Otusheso.

Adding star power to the stage are music and entertainment figures like Timi Dakolo, KieKie, and Gaise Baba.
