NNL: Lobi Stars Adopt Lafia City Stadium for 2025-26 Season

Lobi Stars have chosen Lafia City Stadium as their home ground for the 2025-26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The stadium also serves as the home ground for Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Nasarawa United and NNL side FC Basira. DAIlY POST recalls that Lobi Stars also played their home matches in Lafia during last season’s NPFL campaign.

The club’s regular home, McCarthy Stadium in Makurdi, did not meet the requirements to host NNL matches.

Lobi Stars will kick off their NNL campaign with a clash against City FC this weekend. The new season began last Saturday, with FC Basira defeating Mighty Jets 3-1 at Lafia.
