The burial of late Nollywood actress, writer, and producer Allwell Ademola takes place today, January 9, 2026, at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos. Ademola, who passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 49 following a heart attack, is being honored by family, colleagues, and fans in a final farewell.

According to the funeral committee, guests are expected to wear white shirts and jeans for the burial ceremony. The proceedings follow a Service of Songs and candlelight procession held yesterday at LTV 8, Ikeja, Lagos, which concluded with an Artistes’ Night in tribute to the late actress.

Ademola’s career began as a child actress on television, eventually flourishing in Nollywood from 1992 in both English and Yoruba films. Beyond the screen, she performed on stage, including at the National Theatre, and also released an album in 2006 with her band, Allwell and Company, leaving behind a legacy that spans acting, writing, and music.
