Odumeje Claims “There’s Nothing I Don’t Cure” in Viral Video

Popular clergyman Odumeje has sparked online debate following a viral video in which he spoke about his approach to spiritual intervention and “curing” individuals. The video circulated widely on TikTok.

In the clip, Odumeje claimed that he could “reset” individuals he described as mentally unstable using physical means. He further suggested that certain behaviours in male children, which he described as feminine, could be corrected through his intervention.

According to Odumeje, families could leave their children in his care overnight, during which he would allegedly carry out his method before returning them the following morning, claiming that the process would permanently alter behaviour.

“There’s nothing I don’t cure; it’s only one punch I will give a mad man, his head will reset. And those ones too, their children like to behave like women. Just bring him and keep him with me; go home, I will keep him in one room. By morning you can come and carry him. At night I would go into the room and use punch. By the time I’m done resetting him, he will stop behaving like a woman. Power dey,” he said in the video.

The video has prompted discussions on social media regarding the ethics and safety of such claims, with many questioning the nature of the methods described.
