OPC Provides Food and Cash to Families of Deceased Members

The Oodua People’s Congress Reformed (OPC-R) has distributed food items, clothing, and financial support to the families of its deceased members in Lagos.

The beneficiaries, including hundreds of wives and children, gathered at Oodua House, Ikeja, during the 2025 Heroes and Heroines Day, an annual event organised by the OPC to honour departed members.

Leader of the OPC and Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, thanked God for preserving attendees to witness the yearly event. Represented by Chief Dauda Asikolaiye, National Administrative Secretary of OPC, Adams assured families that the organisation would continue to support them and that their loved ones would not be forgotten.

He emphasised the importance of celebrating members who served actively and sacrificed for the Yoruba race and Nigeria. The annual event, he noted, recognises those who fought various struggles and wars for the community and the nation.
