Allen Sowore, Special Adviser on Communications and Strategy to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has clarified that a teenager, Good Emiju, who died in Oka-Akoko, Ondo State, was not hit by the governor’s convoy.

Sowore dismissed claims by the opposition PDP suggesting otherwise, explaining that a police van attached to the Officer-in-Charge (O.C.) Scorpion, which was on a separate assignment, was responsible for the incident. He confirmed that the police promptly took the victim to the hospital and are engaging with the family following his death.

Sowore urged the PDP to verify facts before making statements that could create tension in the community.
