Porsha Williams, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), was involved in a tense incident aboard a Delta Airlines flight in Atlanta on November 16, 2025. Bodycam footage released by the Atlanta Police Department shows how fellow passengers quickly intervened to support Williams after a heated verbal exchange with another passenger.
Incident on Delta Flight
According to Williams’s attorney, Joe Habachy, the RHOA star was verbally assaulted by an “irate and unhinged passenger without provocation,” prompting her escorted exit from the plane by law enforcement.
The bodycam footage, released on November 19, captures Williams recounting the incident to an Atlanta police officer, accompanied by statements from two passengers who witnessed the altercation. One witness described the situation as chaotic, noting that the other passenger got in Williams’s face and made obscene gestures.
“The woman got in your face and gave you the middle finger, and was doing things that were completely chaotic to you,” the witness explained, apologizing to Williams for the confrontation.
Passengers and Flight Crew Respond
Another passenger corroborated Williams’s account, noting that the star did not physically touch the woman. The witness stated that the only action Williams took was pointing at the individual while asserting, “Don’t talk to me like that.”
Williams detailed that the other passenger had objected to an Instagram video she was watching aloud and verbally insulted her, calling her a “bitch” and asking, “Who the f— do you think you are?” In response, Williams requested that the woman be moved away from her seat.
Flight attendants intervened by relocating the passenger to another seat in the first-class section. Williams admitted to being upset during the incident but emphasized that no physical altercation occurred.
Other Passenger’s Allegations
The woman involved in the dispute offered her side to police, claiming that Williams’s actions—such as bringing her fingernail close to her eye—made her fear for her safety. She also alleged that Williams knocked her phone out of her hand, though the footage and multiple eyewitness statements suggest that the confrontation remained largely verbal.
The Atlanta Police Department confirmed that officers were called to the scene, separated the individuals involved, and forwarded witness statements to the FBI. The FBI is reviewing the incident to determine whether any federal charges may apply.
Legal Response
Williams’s attorney stated that the other passenger’s claims were inconsistent with eyewitness accounts and reiterated that Williams intends to fully cooperate with law enforcement.
“As with any incident occurring aboard an aircraft, federal authorities are required to conduct an investigation involving all parties to determine what, if any, offenses occurred,” Habachy said. He added that Williams remains confident the passenger will ultimately be held accountable for false allegations.
