Singer Qdot has opened up about a harrowing robbery he experienced in September 2025, when armed assailants invaded his home. The traumatic event inspired his latest release, “28 of Sept,” which dropped in January 2026.
The song is a raw reflection of the fear, anxiety, and emotional toll the incident left on him. Qdot details how the robbers stole his phones, laptops, emptied his bank accounts, and took control of his social media accounts. Through his lyrics, he explores themes of survival, resilience, faith, and gratitude.
On social media, Qdot revealed that the trauma still affects him: he wakes up every night at 2:30 a.m. in fear, struggling to sleep peacefully. He also called on authorities to take stronger action to curb crime and support victims.
He wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
“28 of Sept OUT NOW. Even though September 28 has passed, the trauma is still with me. I wake up every night at 2:30 a.m. in fear and can no longer sleep peacefully. I pray for healing and peace, and for stronger government action so this suffering can finally end.”
