Actor Rotimi Salami has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Nollywood community for their overwhelming support following the death of fellow actor Allwell Ademola.

In an emotional letter shared on Instagram, Salami praised colleagues, guilds, associations, and the entire industry for standing by him and his family during their period of grief. He acknowledged the presence, calls, messages, prayers, financial assistance, and quiet behind-the-scenes support that helped them cope with their loss.

Salami highlighted how the dignity and respect accorded to Allwell Ademola during her funeral reflected the high regard the industry held for her life, craft, and contributions.

He wrote:
“In our darkest moment, you stood by us—not just as professionals, but as a true family. Every effort, no matter how small, meant the world to us. May God reward you all abundantly. May Allwell’s soul rest in perfect peace, and may her legacy live on.”

Allwell Ademola passed away on December 27, 2025, following a heart attack at her residence. Salami’s message reinforces the solidarity and compassion within Nollywood, proving that beyond work, the industry shares a deep sense of humanity and unity.
