Former Bollywood actor Zaira Wasim, best known for her roles in Dangal and Secret Superstar, announced her wedding on Instagram on Friday night, marking her return to social media after years of absence.

Zaira shared two photos captioned “Qubool Hai x3”, showing the couple signing their nikaah papers and standing with their backs to the camera. The 24-year-old actor wore a vibrant red bridal outfit with golden embroidery, but chose not to reveal her husband’s identity.

Zaira, who won a National Film Award for her performance as young Geeta Phogat in Dangal (2016), quit acting in 2019 citing her desire to focus on faith, writing that the film industry conflicted with her religious beliefs.
