Record producer Rexxie has claimed that singer Seyi Vibes is an “industry plant,” alleging that his rise to fame was carefully orchestrated.

Speaking on a recent TikTok livestream, Rexxie said Seyi Vibes and his team attempted to create a rivalry with fellow singer Asake for publicity but were ultimately snubbed.

“Seyi Vibes’ breakthrough was planned and supported by those behind him. He and his team even tried to provoke Asake, but it didn’t work. His success was orchestrated,” Rexxie said, without giving further details.

Seyi Vibes has not yet responded to the allegations.
