Sanwo-Olu to Inaugurate 233 New Housing Units in Ajah

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is set to inaugurate 233 new housing units at the Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate, Ajah, located along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The announcement was made by the State Commissioner for Housing, Mr. Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, in a statement signed by Mr. Ganiu Lawal, Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Lagos State Ministry of Housing.

The project comprises 34 blocks, totaling 233 units, and is expected to boost housing stock for the growing number of Lagos residents seeking decent accommodation. The estate is a joint venture between Lagos State Government and Urban Shelter Ltd., a private real estate firm.

Akinderu-Fatai reiterated the ministry’s commitment to providing affordable and quality homes, in line with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s promise to complete ongoing housing projects across the state. The project occupies 3.7 hectares within the fully developed Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate, originally inaugurated on January 15, 2001, by former Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Earlier, in October 2025, Sanwo-Olu had inaugurated 420 housing units at the Akinsanya Sunny Ajose Housing Estate in Ajara.
