Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is celebrating her 46th birthday, reflecting on her life’s journey and expressing gratitude to God for His guidance and blessings.
Sharing a message on Instagram, the senator thanked God for His grace and strength, while praying for continued wisdom, protection, and purpose in the years ahead. She wrote:
“Dear God, As I turn 46 today, I thank You for grace, strength, and growth. Bless my journey ahead with wisdom, courage, and compassion. Keep my family, friends, constituents and all well-wishers safe and may You keep my path aligned with purpose. Amen.”
In celebration of her birthday, Akpoti-Uduaghan also gave back to her alma mater, Federal Government College (FGC) Idoani, with several development projects. The initiatives, motivated by gratitude for her formative years, include a 2,000-seat auditorium, 500-seat multipurpose hall, 10 staff quarters, 300 solar streetlights, and a 50,000-litre solar-powered water system, scheduled for completion next year.
“I’m honoured to facilitate these projects, which shall be completed next year by the grace of God,” she said, noting that her contributions stem from appreciation for the school’s role in shaping her character, discipline, and leadership, rather than political motives.
“FGC Idoani nurtured my character, discipline, and leadership; thus, giving back to my alma mater isn’t politics, it’s gratitude,” Akpoti-Uduaghan emphasized.
