Super Falcons forward Esther Okoronkwo has expressed strong confidence that the Nigerian team can secure a record-extending 11th title at the 2026cccc.

The assertion comes just days after the team, under coach Justine Madugu, booked their place in the finals with a 3-1 aggregate victory over the Amazons of Benin Republic.

“Yes. With Nigeria, everything is possible for sure,” Okoronkwo stated in an interview with Channels Television. “We’re not going there to not want to win or just go there for vibes. We want to win the 11th [WAFCON title] for sure.”

The upcoming tournament will also serve as the African qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, adding further stakes to Nigeria’s campaign as they look to defend the title they won in the last edition.
